Not only is Angel oak an attraction for both tourists and residents, but it is our documentation of history. It provides a good source of clean air. There will be a great backlash if something happens to the trees. I support those who are trying to make sure it doesn't happen. I am telling you, if that tree and the land around it gets paved over, or torn down or dug up, there will be a significant environmental backlash that no one wants to see.
